About Faithful

The Faithful in Christ Ministries Name and Logo

Here is some background on the name and the logo representing Faithful in Christ Ministries.

Our Name
The name Faithful in Christ Ministries is one that represents both our intent and our practice. God desires all believers to be faithful – first of all to Him, then to our lord Jesus Christ and also to the rightly divided Word. Faithfulness is a theme throughout the Bible. The believers in Ephesus are called “the faithful in Christ Jesus.” As a ministry we endeavor to ”hold fast the faithful word as we’ve been taught” and to commit that same Word to other faithful men and women so that they can teach it to others. The word “Ministries” represents all the various ministries in operation within the Body of Christ and it also represents our association with other like-minded ministries with a similar purpose and direction.
Our purpose is stated in “Serving Home Churches.” The primary purpose of Faithful in Christ Ministries is to serve and support home churches and their leaders anywhere in the world. Following the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, the believers began meeting in their homes to teach and preach God’s Word. This is a pattern seen throughout the Church epistles. The home is where the Word lives first. Our door is always open to everyone – families, singles, adults and children. Anyone who enters under the roof of our ministry home to hear the Word of God is welcome.

Our Logo
Our logo is designed to show that the Word of God is central in our homes and to our ministry. The home is where it starts, in a family with God first and with Jesus as their lord being the central focus of their home, and as a family living the truths and values from God’s Word. There is a fire on the inside of the home as represented by the smoke in the chimney and it illustrates that the love of God burns white hot there. In addition it represents the power of the gift of holy spirit that resides within each one of us. The flowing lines at the bottom of the logo illustrate that our ministry is fresh, dynamic and fluid. In addition, the colors have meaning – blue representing peace and tranquility in the household and green illustrating growth, personally and as a ministry. Both the colors flow together implying that these traits are intricately linked together.

Welcome to Faithful in Christ Ministries. Welcome home.

Faithful in Christ Ministries Purpose and Statement of Beliefs

Our Purpose
Faithful in Christ Ministries (FCM) is a studying, teaching, and fellowship ministry. Our purpose is to study and search the scriptures to understand their accuracy regarding Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life and to learn and apply the principles and precepts of God's Word so as to manifest the more than abundant life that Jesus Christ came to make available. Our hearts desire is to then teach that which we have learned to individuals that are seeking the truth of God’s rightly-divided Word. Our goal is to reach families with God's Word so that they can teach their own families in their own homes (home churches) so that the Word can live from generation to generation.

Faithful in Christ Ministries is committed to God’s Word being our only rule of faith and practice. Our faith and practice must not only be scripture-based but that scripture must also be “rightly-divided” according to 2 Timothy 2:15 otherwise we will not have “the Word of truth” but a multitude of interpretations and resulting practices which cannot be trusted. The Word of God then reigns over any man’s authority, long held traditions and beliefs, and even our own opinions. It alone is our standard and nothing can be allowed to control our thinking or dictate our practices that is in opposition to that Word.

The primary purpose of Faithful in Christ Ministries is to serve and support home churches and their leaders anywhere in the world. Following the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, the believers began meeting in their homes to teach and preach God’s Word. This is a pattern seen throughout the Church epistles. The home is where the Word lives first. Our door is always open to everyone – families, singles, adults and children. Statement of Beliefs

  1. We believe that the scriptures are the Word of God. That the Word of God is the will of God, and is the supreme, absolute, and final authority for believing and godliness.
  2. We believe in one God, the creator of the heavens and the earth; in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, whom God raised from the dead; and we believe in the workings of the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe that the virgin Mary conceived Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit, that God was in Christ; and that Jesus Christ is the “mediator between God and man” and is the man Christ Jesus.
  4. We believe that Adam was created in the image of God, spiritually; that he sinned and thereby brought upon himself immediate spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death later, which is the consequence of sin; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.
  5. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, as a representative and substitute for us, and that all who confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead are justified and made righteous, born again by the Spirit of God, receiving eternal life on the grounds of His eternal redemption, and thereby are sons of God.
  6. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ, his ascension into heaven, and his seat at the right hand of God.
  7. We believe in the hope of Christ's return and our gathering together unto him.
  8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust.
  9. We believe in the receiving of the fullness of the Holy Spirit, the power from on high, plus the corresponding nine manifestations of the Holy Spirit, for all born-again believers.
  10. We believe it is available to receive all that God promises us in His Word according to our believing faith. We believe we are free in Christ Jesus to receive all that he has accomplished for us by his substitution.
  11. We believe the early church flourished rapidly because they operated the power of God with great believing, basically in a home and family atmosphere, decently and in order, not by compulsion, but by their freewill giving of their time, talent, and resources, and their dynamic concern and love for God as well as their thankfulness to Him. They had a reverence for and loyalty to God plus a caring respect for one another.

Our Growth and Outreach
Faithful in Christ Ministries will continue to reach out to those who desire to want to know more about God's Word and seek to fellowship with a caring group of believers that study, teach, and fellowship in the light our statement of beliefs with a special focus on building up the individual and the Christian family. The home church meetings are small enough to give special attention to each believer to help them develop and grow at their individual rates and at the same time meet their spiritual needs by providing spiritual nourishment through the teaching and ministering of God's Word. We may also develop special classes that will aid in their learning of God's Word and the practice of its principles and precepts. In addition we will provide special seminars and events from a biblical perspective that handle various topics and needs in life in order to help individuals with their spiritual learning and growth. We will continue to study God’s Word to learn more about God and His Word, Jesus Christ, and the workings of the Spirit. However that which we do know we, as a ministry we will ”hold fast the faithful word as we’ve been taught” and commit that same Word to other faithful men and women so that they can teach it to others.
